Yuchen and Hugh's work published in Nature Communications!

Well done to DPhil students Yuchen Fu and Hugh Lohan, who have just published their work in Nature Communications! This work uses a combination of ultrafast spectroscopy and computations to uncover the structural and electronic factors that enable CuSbSe2 to avoid the limitation of carrier localisation. Having band-like transport is essential to making efficient solar absorbers, but carrier localisation has been widely found in perovskite-inspired materials. This work can enable the future design of more effective photovoltaic materials that avoid this limitation.
