Bio: Hugh studied nanoscience, physics, and the chemistry of advanced materials at Trinity College Dublin (2016-2020), and went on to complete an MSc. in advanced materials science and engineering at Imperial College London (2021-2022) for which he was awarded an academic excellence scholarship. His current research interests focus on combining experimental and computational methods to investigate rudorfitte materials for indoor light harvesting applications. He is supervised by Prof. R.L.Z. Hoye and Prof. A. Walsh for experimental and computational work respectively.
