Bio: Yiru is a PhD student (2019-) in Materials at Cambridge. Her primary supervisor is Prof. Manish Chhowalla, with Prof. Hoye as her co-supervisor. She joined the group when we were based in Cambridge before 2020. Her project focuses on understanding and controlling defects in two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides.
