Dr. Yi-Teng Huang
Bio: Yi-Teng completed his PhD (2019-2023) in Physics at the University of Cambridge, and was funded by a government scholarship from Taiwan, with support from Downing College Cambridge. His primary supervisor was Prof. Akshay Rao, with Prof. Hoye as his co-supervisor. Afterwards, he joined the group in Oxford as a postdoctoral researcher. He worked on developing ternary bismuth chalcogenides for photovoltaics, with particular focus on their defect tolerance. His postdoctoral work is funded by EPSRC. In 2025, upon completing his postdoctoral position in the group, he returned to Taiwan as Assistant Professor at National Taiwan University.
