Samarth Sharma

Bio: Samarth is a BTech student in the Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science department at IIT Bombay in India. He has worked on the fabrication of composite, multiferroic, lead-free ferroelectric materials using pulsed laser deposition and optimising processing parameters for growing polycrystalline NKBT thin films. During his 8 week visit, funded by his Department, he is working on growing and characterizing BiOI thick films for radiation detectors.
