Ivan Caño

Bio: Ivan Caño is a PhD student at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Barcelona), under the supervision of Prof. Edgardo Saucedo. His PhD focuses on the research of earth-abundant Van der Waals semiconductors, including Sb2Se3 and pnictogen chalcohalides (SbSeI, SbSeBr…), investigating novel synthesis methodologies based on co-evaporation, high-pressure treatments and solution processing. He is also working on the development of molecular precursor ink deposition methods for Ag3SX anti-perovskite synthesis, and CZTS (Cu2ZnSnS4) for indoor PV applications.
