Bio: Joydip Ghosh received his PhD degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India in 2021. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Surrey, UK between 2021-2024. In his postdoctoral work in Surrey, he worked on perovskite material-based direct X-ray detectors and scintillators. Joydip has started his postdoctoral position in the group and his current research is on the BiOI X-ray detectors.
