Bio: Ashish is a DPhil student, with Prof. Hoye as his primary supervisor and is working on low-dimensional Perovskites for efficient light emissions. He is funded by Oxford-Indira Gandhi Graduate Scholarship from Somerville College. He completed his bachelor's in physics from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (2017-2020), followed by a Masters in Science from National Taiwan University (2021-2023), where his research was based on designing highly efficient micro-LED displays, for which he was awarded an academic and research excellence scholarship. In Prof. Hoye group, he is working on designing low-dimensional perovskites for efficient light emission and exploring further potential applications.
